The Community Response Team was born during Covid-19 to meet the needs of the community through unprecedented times.

Through hard work and multiple funding streams we have had great success with our community initiatives.

We are proud to say that the Community Response Team is here to stay. Made up primarily of FCSS staff the Community Response Team is supplemented by other superstars on city staff and our awesome volunteers.

Street Team

Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, our Staff have participated in Street Team activities around the City of Wetaskiwin. With assistance from our Community Peace Officers and The City of Wetaskiwin Fire Department we have been able to distribute multiple bags of produce and gift cards to deserving individuals all around the City. You can easily recognize the team by the City of Wetaskiwin Van, or their yellow and gold jackets. Wherever you may find them, great things are sure to follow.
