The Commissioner for Oaths program provides the community with access to affordable, convenient, and legally authorized services for the commissioning of affidavits, statutory declarations, and other sworn documents. A Commissioner for Oaths is appointed under the Alberta Notaries and Commissioners Act and is authorized to administer oaths and affirmations, take and receive affidavits, declarations, and affirmations for use within Alberta.
