The Open Doors
As a Youth Mentor, you will build positive, supportive relationships with young people by offering encouragement, guidance, and a safe space to connect. Mentors support youth through structured activities, group programming, and one-to-one interactions focused on building confidence, life skills, and overall well-being. Youth Mentors act as positive role models, helping youth feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate everyday challenges. This role may include participating in wellness-based activities, group discussions, and community events, while working alongside our staff team to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants. No prior mentoring experience is required, just a genuine interest in supporting youth, strong communication skills, and a commitment to making a positive impact. Training and ongoing support will be provided, and all volunteers must complete our standard volunteer onboarding process.
